 Abstract:  Rabbi Ahron Soloveichik was born on May 1, 1918 in Pruzana, Poland, and arrived in the United States with his mother and sister at the end of 1930. He taught at many different Jewish institutions and gave lectures about the philosophy of Judaism. The collection consists of a five page manuscript letter from him to a Miss Garmise, in response to her letter asking him for information to be used to write an article about him, which contains biographical information, details about his educational background, and some comments about his religious ideology.
